LiuGong Connected Service — Telematics Before Downtime

Telematics, predictive parts dispatch and electrified retrofit for LiuGong earthmoving fleets — so managers see hydraulic cleanliness, shoe wear and slew-bearing trends before a pit stop cascades.

Four Pillars of Connected Earthmoving Support

Each pillar maps to a procurement or operations pain point: unplanned downtime, parts lag, diesel intensity and haul-cycle labor risk.

Telematics-driven PM

CAN-bus plus ISO 15143-3 AEMP feeds stream to your fleet office every 30 seconds — hours, fuel burn, hydraulic pressure and fault codes in one dashboard.

AI Predictive Parts

Slew-bearing wear, ISO 4406 cleanliness and undercarriage shoe life projected about 37 hours ahead, with kits auto-dispatched from the nearest quarry-belt hub.

Battery-Electric Retrofit

Selected Tier 4 diesel platforms convert to 600 kWh Li-ion packs with regenerative slew braking for low-emission quarry and urban night shifts.

Autonomous Haul Pilot

Site-licensed Level-4 haul-truck convoys geofenced to active mass-excavation pits, supervised from a remote operations trailer.

37h Average advance warning before unplanned downtime
41% CO2e cut per m³ moved on battery retrofit fleets
6.2× Longer slew-bearing interval after AI grease tuning
18 Active autonomous haul pilots on quarry sites

Procurement managers often struggle to verify that aftermarket support will keep a multi-year earthworks schedule on track. LiuGong connected service contracts publish MTTR targets, stocking levels for undercarriage groups, and remote diagnostic SLAs before the purchase order is signed.

When a hydraulic particle count trends toward the ISO 4406 alert band, the portal opens a parts order and assigns a certified FSE with the correct main-pump kit. That loop — sense, forecast, dispatch — is what turns telematics from a dashboard into fewer lost dig cycles.

Electrified retrofit and autonomous haul pilots remain optional modules. Contractors can start with AEMP feeds and predictive undercarriage alerts, then add battery packs or geofenced haul convoys when the site power and permitting windows open.

Connected-Service Scope Limits

  • Sensor coverage: ~37 h advance warnings apply to contracted fleets with live ISO 15143-3 AEMP feeds and sample schedules; machines offline more than 48 h drop out of the forecast window.
  • Retrofit boundary: 600 kWh battery conversions suit selected Tier 4 platforms with documented duty cycles; continuous high-travel face loading may stay on diesel until charge ampacity is proven.
  • Autonomy pilots: Level-4 haul strings stay geofenced and supervised; they do not replace manned excavator dig crews on the same bench without a written override plan.
